Finding quality life insurance leads is an ongoing challenge for agents at every stage of their career. Whether you are newer to the industry or have been producing for years, lead quality, consistency, cost, and fit can all affect your ability to grow.

FEB recently updated its Lead Assistance Program to make the structure easier to understand and the available lead options easier to match to the way producers actually sell.

Rather than pushing every agent toward the same type of lead, the program gives producers access to several Final Expense lead formats while helping offset part of the cost through qualifying production.

How FEB’s Lead Assistance Program Works

The structure is simple:

  • Write $1,500 in issued net annualized life premium through FEB

  • Spend at least $600 through an approved lead source

  • Receive either $100 or $200 in Lead Assistance, depending on the qualifying carrier

  • Qualify again after each additional $1,500 in issued net annualized life premium

The agent is responsible for the remaining balance of the lead order.

$200 Lead Assistance Qualifying Carriers

Agents can qualify for $200 in Lead Assistance when the required $1,500 in issued net annualized life premium is written with:

  • Aetna

  • American Amicable

  • CICA

  • Transamerica

  • GPM

Business written with other FEB carrier partners qualifies for $100 in Lead Assistance.

The biggest advantage is that Lead Assistance is not a one-time benefit. Producers can qualify again as additional production is issued.

What Production Qualifies for Lead Assistance?

The leads available through the program are Final Expense leads, but the business used to qualify is broader.

Eligible production can include:

  • Final Expense

  • Graded Benefit Whole Life

  • Guaranteed Issue Whole Life

  • Underwritten Life Insurance

  • Term Life Insurance

  • Universal Life

  • Indexed Universal Life

FEB’s current program materials specifically include Final Expense, graded benefit whole life, guaranteed issue whole life, and underwritten life insurance among approved product categories.

That means a producer does not have to write only Final Expense business to qualify for assistance toward Final Expense leads.

Final Expense Lead Options Through FEB

One of the most important parts of choosing a lead source is matching the lead to the way you sell.

A field producer working leads door-to-door has different needs than a telesales producer looking for an interested consumer already on the phone.

High-Intent Life Insurance Inbound Calls

For telesales producers, high-intent life insurance inbound calls offer a flexible alternative to relying solely on outbound dialing.

There are:

  • No subscriptions

  • No required schedules

  • No long-term commitments

Agents simply pay per call.

When a producer is ready to take calls, they can log in, enter the queue, and typically connect with a consumer-initiated call within about 10 minutes.

Multiple price points are available depending on the source of the call.

This gives telesales agents the ability to speak with consumers who have already responded to life insurance advertising and initiated contact.

FEB agents also receive preferred pricing through this option, and the required $600 spend can count toward Lead Assistance when program requirements are met.

Direct Mail Final Expense Leads

Direct mail remains a strong option for agents working Final Expense face-to-face.

Based on what FEB has seen, conversion rates tend to be higher when direct mail leads are worked door-to-door rather than treated primarily as an outbound calling list.

Available direct mail features can include:

  • Targeted mailing lists

  • Final Expense lead cards

  • Compliance-reviewed mail pieces

  • Built-in CRM tools

  • Lead organization and tracking

  • Streamlined online ordering

For producers who are comfortable working in the field, direct mail can be a better fit because it supports an in-person sales process.

Digital Real-Time Final Expense Leads

Digital real-time leads are generated when a consumer submits information online requesting details about life insurance.

These leads are delivered quickly, so response time matters.

They tend to fit agents who already have a structured outbound follow-up process and can contact recent inquiries promptly.

FEB’s current lead materials include digital real-time lead options.

Exclusive and Verified Final Expense Leads

FEB also works with lead options that emphasize exclusivity and consumer verification.

Depending on the source, features can include:

  • SMS verification

  • TCPA-compliant lead generation

  • Exclusive delivery to the purchasing agent

FEB’s current lead information includes an option described as 100% SMS verified, TCPA compliant, and exclusive.

Exclusivity can be an important factor for agents who want to avoid heavily shared internet leads where multiple producers may be contacting the same prospect.

Why FEB Uses Different Final Expense Lead Formats

FEB does not believe one type of lead works equally well for every producer.

Current lead options span direct mail, digital real-time leads, inbound Final Expense calls, and technology-supported lead solutions.

A high-volume telesales producer and a field agent working appointments should not necessarily be buying the same type of lead.

The goal is to give producers access to lead formats that better match how they already do business.

Lead Assistance That Can Repeat With Production

Once an agent reaches the required $1,500 in issued net annualized life premium and completes the required $600 lead purchase, FEB contributes toward the cost.

Each additional $1,500 in issued net annualized life premium can qualify the agent for Lead Assistance again.

For established life insurance producers, that creates a straightforward way to reinvest production back into Final Expense lead generation.

Looking for a Life Insurance IMO With Lead Assistance?

FEB’s updated Lead Assistance Program is designed to make the process easier to understand while giving producers practical lead options based on how they sell.

Available Final Expense lead strategies include:

  • High-intent life insurance inbound calls

  • Direct mail Final Expense leads

  • Digital real-time Final Expense leads

  • Exclusive and verified Final Expense leads

If you are already producing life insurance business and looking for a Final Expense IMO with lead assistance, the key is not simply finding more leads.

It is finding the lead type that fits your sales model—and having a clear way to offset part of the cost as you produce.

Write business. Qualify for assistance. Reinvest in leads. Keep producing.
